Megan Andriano, JourneyCare Art Therapist/Manager of Integrative Therapies, graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in studio arts and minor in psychology. She earned her Master of Arts in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 2011, interning at JourneyCare and Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital (ABBHH). After graduating from SAIC in 2011, Megan went on to work as a Resource Expressive Therapist for ABBHH through February 2016. Megan also worked as JourneyCare’s art therapist since May 2011 and in September, 2015, Megan took on the role of Manager of Integrative Therapies for JourneyCare while still serving hospice patients through art therapy. Megan has presented twice on art therapy with hospice patients at the Illinois Art Therapy Association Conferences and has grown an art therapy internship program at JourneyCare, supervising art therapy graduate students from SAIC, Adler University in Chicago and Southwestern College in Sante Fe.
