Betsy Foley has a long history of service to Midwest CareCenter through her work on our Service Board and on our Board of Directors, which she joined in 2010. She has chaired numerous events and served on event planning committees in an effort to raise support for and awareness of the organization. As a resident of Winnetka, she also has been very active in her community by supporting other local causes like the Northwestern Settlement House and Touhy House in addition to her work on area school boards. Betsy's professional experiences include work for U.S. Senator Warren G. Magnuson and the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington, DC. She has several personal experiences with hospice care in Georgia where her parents lived and where she helped fund the construction of a hospice residence. Betsy will serve on the new Board of Directors for the newly merged organization.
Betsy and fellow Service Board members were honored in October with the Community Service Award. Watch this video to learn more about their contributions.
